Millennium Resort Mussanah is the ideal weekend escape for dive and water sport activities, relaxation and recreation in Oman, and only 4 hours driving time from Dubai or Abu Dhabi, or 45 minutes from Muscat International Airport. The dive package will take divers to a group of islands about 18km offshore to the North of Muscat where some of Oman’s best developed coral reefs, nesting sea turtles, schooling fish, moray eels and tropical reef fish can be seen. Eagle and mobula rays can be expected during this month and if you are lucky, you might get a glimpse of the leopard shark.
The Dimaniyat Island is Oman’s only fully protected marine reserve and the stunning marine and island environment are still in near-pristine condition. There are a total of 17 dive sites in the three island groups, ranging from around 5m to 30m, making it an ideal spot for the less experienced divers.
The Dive & Stay package is inclusive of breakfast for single and double occupancy, with free late check out and an upgrade to a room with a sea view. The boat departs daily at 8:30am and returns at 2:30pm. The snorkeling and diving trips are offered bySEAOMAN Dive Centre which is run by a team of highly experienced dive professionals and certified by the internationally recognised Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI). The Dive Center is located on the site where guests can make direct booking.
