Two of the Millennium Seoul Hilton’s luxury dining restaurants, Il Ponte and Taipan, are offering exquisite menus ideal for meat lovers and fans of ginseng from now until the end of October.

Il Ponte, Millennium Seoul Hilton’s popular Italian trattoria, will host a month-long promotion showcasing lamb dishes and the culinary alchemy that occurs when combined with certain flavour profiles. Throughout the month of October, diners will be able to enjoy a special set menu featuring flavourful and aromatic Italian lamb dishes.


The five course menu, entitled “Science of Lamb” will feature delectable dishes such as: Grilled Lamb Skewer on Arugula, Cucumber Goat Cheese Salad with Lime Dressing and Foccacia Bread; Penne Pasta with Spice Lamb Meatballs in a Chunky Tomato Sauce; Grilled Rack of Lamb with an Olive-Pistachio Crust, Mushroom Risotto, Vegetable Ratatouille and Marsala Sauce; and more.

This menu is priced at KW89,000 per person.

Millennium Seoul Hilton is showcasing the powerful, medicinal ginseng at Taipan, the hotel’s popular Chinese restaurant, throughout the month of October. During this time, in addition to Taipan’s regular menu offerings, diners will be able to choose a variety of special menu items that feature the highly-prized root.


Ginseng has been touted to have many benefits when consumed – from boosting immunity to lowering blood sugar. An endurance booster, ginseng is widely studied for its ability to treat many ailments and improve health.

Some of the wonderful dishes to be featured include: Cantonese Roast Duck served with Honey Glazed Fresh Ginseng; Stir-fried Live Lobster and Fresh Ginseng with Garlic and Red Chili; Fried Rice with Fresh Ginseng and Black Chicken wrapped in Lotus Leaf; and much more.

The a la carte dishes range in price from KW28,000 to KW160,000.
