Modern Business Etiquette

The book Modern Business Etiquette concentrates on what is expected ofpeople in their professional life. In her introduction Mrs Bonvin-Dechoux writes:- “You might have succeeded in your professional life, and you might feel that neither this question nor its answer concerns you. After all, you have made it so far, and you keep on being successful. Or so you think. But in today’s world, where competition is fiercer, lots of people are lining up to take your place or to impress your customers. Your competitors are not only those found on your street or in your town but those miles away from you. So what do you do about it? How do you become a savvy professional?. We all have our own notions of business etiquette.

Some avoid considering its importance because they fear or reject the rules and codes established by our predecessors”.
