It’s one of the City’s most iconic venues and this month, Jupiters Hotel & Casino will present an outstanding line-up of live entertainment in celebration of three fun-filled decades on the Gold Coast. Throughout November Jupiters Theatre will showcase some of the biggest names in the international recording industry, including legends like the Beach Boys, Engelbert Humperdinck and Burt Bacharach.
In what’s sure to be a month to remember, Jupiters will also present another instalment of the hugely successful comedy series ‘Laugh Your Pants Off’. The celebrations will continue with soulful songster Stan Walker taking to the stage, and even Elvis will be in the building in November for Shake Rattle & Roll.
Managing Director Queensland Geoff Hogg said the huge month ahead offered people the perfect chance to join in the celebrations.
“Since opening our doors in November 1985, Jupiters has proudly built a reputation as the Gold Coast’s premier entertainment venue.
We’ve welcomed more than 100 million people through our doors and an astonishing 5.6 million have enjoyed our stage spectaculars,” he said.
“Over those years we’ve shared in some of the Gold Coast’s biggest celebrations and now, our celebrations are theirs to enjoy. “We’ve organised a phenomenal line-up of world-class performers to celebrate the occasion and we look forward to welcoming people into Jupiters for a host of special offers, experiences, prizes and events throughout the month of November.”
Kicking off the massive month of entertainment will be Engelbert Humperdinck whose instantly recognisable voice, natural charisma and tender love songs will have the audience swooning this evening, with tickets still available from $134.90.
Burt Bacharach will continue the month of exceptional talent, performing on Wednesday November 4. As one of the world’s most acclaimed, award-winning composers and songwriters Burt will bring his ultra-cool artistry to the Gold Coast performing songs from his six decade careers which has included three Academy Awards, eight Grammy Awards, 48 top ten hits and nine number one songs. The enormously popular comedy series, ‘Laugh Your Pants Off’ will be back with an unbelievably hilarious line-up on Friday November 13. Guests will giggle, chuckle and laugh out loud to the sidesplittingly funny Akmal Saleh, Merrick Watts and Lawrence Mooney, along with enough comedians to ensure you cry tears of laughter. Tickets to this event are just $49.
Good vibrations will be pumping through Jupiters when one of the world’s biggest bands takes to the stage on Tuesday November 17.
The Beach Boys are the architects and icons of the California sound and one of the most influential and enduring bands in pop history. This concert sold out extremely quickly and those lucky ticket holders will be there for the one night only event which will include some of their biggest hits including California Girls, Surfin’ USA, Sloop John B, God Only Knows, Sail On Sailor, Kokomo, Surfer Girl, Help Me Rhonda, Barbara Ann and Wouldn’t It Be Nice.
He’s the platinum-selling artist whose undeniable vocal-gift and engaging boy-next-door charm took the nation by storm and now, Stan Walker is set to entertain fans in Jupiters Theatre on Friday November 20. In what promises to be an impressive yet intimate show, Walker will woo audiences with the soulful sounds of his latest hit album, Truth & Soul, as part of his landmark Australian tour. Tickets just $56 per person.
Back by popular demand, Jupiters will host its second instalment of Legends Live on Saturday November 21. The audience will be transported back to the ‘80s as they dance, party and reminisce to live performances from Mark Gable (Choirboys), Brian Mannix (Uncanny Xmen), Dale Ryder (Boom Crash Opera) and Scott Carne (Kids in the Kitchen) take to the stage. Joined by Sean Kelly (Models), Paul Gray (Wa Wa Nee), David Sterry (Real Life) and Ally Fowler (Chantoozies), the concert promises two jam-packed hours of amazing hits. Keeping the month of amazing entertainment rolling, Shake Rattle ‘n’ Roll will hit Jupiters Theatre on Saturday November 28. Prepare to be razzle dazzled by the stage spectacular that pays tribute to many of the immortal rock ‘n’ roll legends of the ‘50s including Bill Haley, Chubby Checker, Bobby Darin, Elvis, Nat King Cole, The Everly Brothers, Ritchie Valens, Buddy Holly and Australia’s own rock ‘n’ roll “Wild One” Johnny O’Keefe. The cast of Shake Rattle ‘n’ Roll features 12 of the hottest dancers as seen on ‘Dancing With The Stars’ along with the dynamic vocals of Glenn Craven & Jonathan Guthrie-Jones. This season also introduces special guest artists – Jamie Redfern & Derek Redfern. Adding to the stellar line up and coming to us direct from Las Vegas – Steve Connolly will blow you away as Elvis.
