Sydney Airport today welcomed United Airlines’ announcement that it would increase dedicated capacity on the Sydney-Los Angeles and Sydney-San Francisco routes.

“This is good news for Sydney, as it means all seats on United Airlines’ existing Sydney-Los Angeles and Sydney-San Francisco services will now be available for passengers travelling to and from Sydney,” Sydney Airport Chief Executive Officer, Kerrie Mather, said.

“An increase in the number of people travelling to and from Sydney will help to foster tourism and business and support our economy.”

United Airlines will operate seven frequencies per week from Sydney to Los Angeles and seven frequencies per week from Sydney to San Francisco from October.
