Vana Nava Hua Hin, Asia’s First Water Jungle, has been an incredible success in becoming one of Hua Hin’s main attractions soon after its first operation day on 1 December 2014. Thai visitors are thoroughly pleased to have a world-class water park in Thailand, and being moreover nearby to Bangkok, while foreign visitors count on the water park’s international standards in rides and safety, delighted to fulfill their trip to Hua Hin with exploring both the classic side and the modernity of this versatile location.
Strengthening the world-class water park with the concept “More than a water park”, Vana Nava Hua Hin leads the trend of water parks in Thailand and goes far beyond expectations in Asia. An innovative menu will be featured by specially invited Chef Chumpol Jangprai, the renowned Iron Chef of Thailand, who has been appointed Culinary Consultant to the Tree Top Lounge, the water park’s venue for quality dining. Iron Chef Chumpol has specially created a surprisingly different and enlightening menu of 10 irresistible dishes which he envisions as the Goodness of Hua Hin, the Freshness of Prachup Khiri Khan and the Sublimity of Thailand”, a tantalizing culmination of Thai-International fusion recipes. Each of these marvelous fusion dishes emphasizes and contrasts the varying lightness and heaviness of Thai and international foods. A fascinating example is utilizing Thai “Gaeng Som”, the spicy-sour curry paste, as a pizza topping with fresh sea food, creating the signature Spicy and Sour Seafood Curry Flavoured Pizza.
Another interesting dish is the use of Thailand’s famous “Tom Yam” herbs mixed with fresh prawns and stuffed in a croquette for Spicy Croquette with Tom Yum Gung Filling. Also included are Seared Salmon served with Thai style Seafood Chili & Herbal Sauce or a weight control menu of seabass fillet served with unmilled dark violet riceberry rice for the Pan-fried seabass with Tomato Herb Crust and Saffron Sauce and Riceberry Rice as well as Sea Prawn and Korat Wagyu Beef Steak – Thailand’s best Wagyu beef. Other tempting dishes include unbelievably tender Kurobuta with Homemade Pineapple Sauce, the original Thai taste with Prawn/Beef Green Curry with Bird’s Eye Chili served with Indian Roti, Pranburi Fish and Chips, Spaghetti alle Vongole and fresh filleted fish for Fillet of Beef with Marble Sauce.
Renowned Iron Chef of Thailand, Chef Chumpol Jangprai (4th from left), together with Natha Jamassevi, Director of Revenue Management of Vana Nava Hua Hin (3rd from Left) has launched a tantalizing culmination of Thai-International fusion menu consisting of 10 signature dishes such as Spicy Croquette with Tom Yum Gung Filling, Spicy and Sour Seafood Curry Flavoured Pizza, Pan fried seabass with tomato herb crust and saffron sauce served with Riceberry Rice, Sea Prawn and Korat Wagyu Beef Steak , Pa-La-U Durian Soufflé (seasonal) at the Tree Top Lounge of Vana Nava Hua Hin water park together with the cocktail and mocktail from MONIN fruit syrup from France, recently in Prachuap Khiri Khan province.
To ensure a spectacular atmosphere for dine & drink, the Tree Top Lounge in collaboration with Monin, the leading fruit and herbs syrups producer from France, will offer beverages, both cocktails (alcoholic) and mocktails (non-alcoholic) which have been researched and tasted specifically to ensure compatibility with the flavors of Thai-International fusion style.
Monin, originated in France, uses the finest ingredients to produce premium syrup product with a unique formula made up of a minimum of 50% whole fruits, each one a splendid combination of fruits, flowers, nuts, spices and pure sugar, with no cholesterol or fats which brings to life new possibilities for smoothies, cocktails, mocktails and all fruit-based recipes. The Tree Top Lounge is located on the second floor of alfresco dining cafeteria “The Grove” (Building B), decorated with wooden furniture and the natural roof top material. Surrounded by a tropical garden, with the water park’s splashing views and fun atmosphere surrounding it, creating the complementary experience of Splashtacular Fun! and Spectacular Feast! Tree Top Lounge is unveiled as Hua Hin’s cozy dining destination for everyone and every age with a full course menu and delectable drink list. Come any time from 10:00 am or spend a special evening until 09:00 pm.
“The concept of Tree Top Lounge is distinct and different from any other restaurant I have ever seen or worked with,” commented Iron Chef Chumpol. “Located in the front area of Vana Nava Hua Hin water park, which is now a shortlisted tourist destination of Hua Hin, in Prachuap Khiri Khan province. Hua Hin, apart from being the classic beach town, is also well recognized as a destination for delicious food. Freshness of the seafood and signature local agricultural products have enlightened me to create unique savory and sweet dishes. For example, the world-recorded yellow pineapple named “Sam Roi Yod”, recorded as being still fresh with sweet taste and scent when stored in normal temperatures for up to 30 days; the “Cheak Tar” or scarily translated as “Eyes Ripping Pineapple”, a pineapple that doesn’t need to be pealed, just rip each fruitlet and bite (Thais call the fruitlets “eyes”). This pineapple has a sweet-sour taste; and “Durian Pa-La-U”, named after Pa-La-U Hua Hin Waterfall, Thailand’s gem Durian that has a dry texture, not too sweet and not too strong. My 10 dishes for Tree Top Lounge are all from selected raw materials from this locality, in support of local farmers which is the declared policy of Vana Nava Hun Hin, in supporting local agriculture and businesses in the community. This special menu presents a fusion blend between East and West. In addition to being pleasant and palatable to all target groups, it also aims to make a distinct differentiation of the food and service concepts between Tree Top Lounge on the 2nd floor and The Grove on the 1st floor as well as food kiosks in the water park,” said Chef Chumpol, also commenting that he was delighted to work with Proud Real Estate Co., Ltd. for the first time.
“We have built this water park intending it to be a place of diverse venues for relaxation and entertainment. That means Vana Nava Hua Hin is not just a water park with slides and splash, but we are a complex destination with fun filled entertainment, to socialize with friends and have family gatherings. Visitors come here not only to swim and play in the water. Our Building B, which is for dining, clubbing and meetings, the Adventure Zone for rock climbing, rope climbing and the surf simulator, do not require an entrance fee. We were honored that Thailand’s Iron Chef values our tourism mission to make the water park even more unique within Asia through his created menu. Chef Chumpol accepting the position of Culinary Consultant has deserved our deep appreciation. We are glad that he has taken on our commitment to support the local produce to create a special menu that does not just great look but also delicious. We also thank Monin for enhancing our selection of drinks served to any age. Considering mocktails, which is a non-alcoholic party drink, few people are aware of the excellent wide choice there really is, rather than simply the fruit punch most are familiar with,” said Ms. Proudputh Liptapanlop, Executive Director of Proud Real Estate Co., Ltd.
Tree Top Lounge is located on the 2nd floor of The Grove (Building B) at Vana Nava Hua Hin. Open daily from 10:00 am to 09:00 pm. The sound of cool tunes, audible from the DJ booth and flowing up from the Surf Zone on Fridays and Saturdays between 06:00 pm to 08:00 pm enhances the atmosphere of gathering and clubbing. The 2nd floor also houses three private rooms that can be opened up to a larger room for activities, intimate gatherings, Karaoke or a joyous party. All combinations of these have certainly earned Vana Nava Hua Hin the reputation of being “More than a Water Park”.
