More the Merrier at Pirata this Festive Season

Pirata celebrates the festive season with Italian warmth, passion and vivacity. Hong Kong’s honest Italian invites guests to feast on indulgent group dining menus running throughout the month of December.


Rustic menus for parties of 11 or more feature Italian festive specials and house favourites. In the spirit of giving, Pirata will treat Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve guests to a generous four course dining menus and free-flow options.

“Christmas is a time for giving and sharing with family and friends, and of course getting stuffed from all the delicious food. Pirata’s selection of authentic Italian group dining menus will run throughout December, ranging from HKD420 to HKD620 per head. Festive menus created for sharing will fill tummy’s wish lists with starters, pastas, mains and deserts. All menus start with a classic Piatti Piccoli of Italian cold cuts and cheese; highlights to follow includeTuscan seabass with taggiasca olives, cherry tomatoes, white wine and potatoes and Grilled Boston lobster with salsa verde. Sides provide the mainstay of any Christmas meal with Roasted new potatoes infused with Italian aromatic flavours of rosemary and garlic.

Paying tribute to the Italian tradition of a large Christmas Eve meal of fresh seafood, Pirata is offering a group dining menu for those looking to celebrate the night before (HKD688 per head, HKD548 for early bird dining at 6pm). The spread, laden with frutti di mare and authentic Italian favourites, is perfect to share with family and friends. Highlights available exclusively on Christmas Eve include Scottish smoked salmon mouse with rye dark bread and caviar, Mediterranean octopus salad with radicchio, orange and dark chocolate and Crumbled Tuscany sea bass fillet with Mediterranean herbs and fennel salad.

Pirata gets the party going on New Year’s Eve with their four course party menu (HKD788 per head, early bird dining HKD588) – making the last meal of 2015 one to remember. The feast includes highlights of Fennel scented dry marinated Tasmanian Salmon, Papparedelle “Hunter style” with wild boar ragu and Barbera wine andCrumbed Italian red mullet with Mediterranean herbs and crushed pistachios. With generous sharing plates, sides and deserts galore, diners will be well stocked up for the party ahead.

Free flow packages to warm the cheeks start from HKD240 for Prosecco, Italian wines and beers, or HKD320 for the above with added house spirits, vermouth and Italian aperitivos of Aperol spritz and Negroni.
