More Unique Tours From Travel Directors

FEEDBACK from past travellers has prompted Perth-based Travel Directors to add a tour from southern China through Burma and a unique rail journey from Manchester to Marrakesh to the 2016 brochure it is about to release.

Both itineraries are in keeping with Travel Directors’ tradition of providing high quality cutting-edge tours to more remote and lesser-known regions of the world.

Marketing manager Helen Power said the company had received clear messages from its past guests that they would appreciate a tour that covered less frequented areas of southern China and off-the-beaten track parts of largely unvisited Burma.

The second major addition to the company’s 70-plus destinations is a unique rail tour travelling from Manchester by rail through the Channel Tunnel, then down through France and Spain to take a ferry to Tangiers and a further train journey through northern Morocco to Marrakesh.

The company has scheduled three of its Burma tours. The first in November has already sold out and others will follow in February and October, 2016.

Initially, there will be a single epic rail tour to Morocco, but additional Rail Across America departures have been added next year to cater for high demand.

Ms Power said that the popularity of Travel Directors’ all-inclusive itineraries has led to increased input from travellers seeking to broaden their experiences of remote regions.

She added, “We pride ourselves on providing a discriminating section of the Australian market with well-structured and adventurous tour to areas in which most people need guidance and leadership from expert tour leaders.
