More value for money on four night cruise

March 7, 2014 Cruise Deals No Comments Email Email

From the 1 April 2014, passengers onboard Captain Cook Cruises four night Northern Yasawa Islands cruise will have an extra three hours to enjoy the cruise with guests disembarking the MV Reef Endeavour at Port Denarau Marina at 12 noon, instead of 9.00am.

For the past 18 years the four night cruise has disembarked at 9.00am at Port Denarau but according to Jackie Charlton, Captain Cook Cruises General Manager the company saw a way to give passengers even more value for their money. unnamed (7)

“Disembarking passengers later on Saturday morning mean’s passengers can now enjoy a morning swim and activities at Tivua Island, our Day cruise destination, before disembarking at Port Denarau between midday to 1pm”. Says Ms Charlton.

For guests needing to disembark at 9am to meet up with transfers or flights, a transfer to Vuda Point and Nadi Airport can be organised for F$80 (A$50) per person.

There is no change for passengers returning on Tuesdays from the Discovery Cruises to the Remote North and the Mamanuca and Southern Yasawa Cruises or Saturday following the Lau Discovery cruises.  Disembarkation for these cruises is still 9am.

The four-night Northern Yasawa Cruise visits the private island of Tivua and cruises the spectacular passage from Yaqeta Island to the Yasawas northern reaches.

Offering a truly cultural experience, guests will visit unspoilt Fijian villages, schools, churches and handicraft markets and take part in a traditional village sevusevu ceremony, Meke and Lovo feast,

As well as being immersed in Fijian culture there is plenty of time for relaxation and appreciating the beautiful marine life while snorkelling over amazing coral reefs, lazing on warm white sandy beaches, basking in crystal clear waters or diving in spectacular blue lagoons.

Stay on-board and be pampered at the ships Senikai Day Spa, or simply relax on the sun deck by the spa or pool or grab a cocktail at the pool bar.

The four night Northern Yasawa Islands cruise departs Port Denarau marina on Tuesdays at 1.00pm   and Early Booking Saver fares start from AUD$1248 per person twin share. Prices include accommodation, all meals, guided village and island tours, glass bottom boat excursions, on board entertainment, child minding for children 5-10 years and use of the ship’s facilities including swimming pool, spa, pool bar, sun deck, sauna, cocktail bar, day spa and library.
