Morton’s Of Chicago Introduces 6 Hearty Seasonal Dishes For A Limited Time

unnamed (13)Award-winning Morton’s of Chicago, The Steakhouseset in the heart of Shanghai’s financial Lujiazui district is refreshing its ‘traditional steakhouse’ menu with new introductions available for limited time between November 1 and March 31, 2016. The new fall seasonal menu brings exciting elements and new flavours with 6 additional items including the 14 ounces of Bone-in Filet Mignon and Seared Sea Scallops Rossini.

Diners can dive into the expanded menu by starting with their Lobster Stuffed Mushrooms (RMB275), these are mouth-watering, large mushroom caps seasoned with garlic butter, roasted and stuffed with a lobster meat filling. This delightful starter opens the menu with exciting combinations and full-on aromas.

New main courses include Bone-in Filet Mignon (RMB688) and Seared Sea Scallops Rossini (RMB380). The Filet Mignon will definitely not disappoint the meat lovers, especially with the 14 ounces of double cut filet broiled to order, while the oceanic addition of scallops, seared and served atop black truffled leeks with foie gras butter create yet another delectable and aromatic mix to the menu.

The mains are accompanied with a wide selection of side dishes, with the tempting choice of Mashed Black Truffle Cauliflower (RMB100) – creamy cauliflower puree with black truffles and Parmesan Cheese garnished with chopped fresh chives. Going along this you will also find another new addition- Bacon Steaks (RMB150). The 12 ounces of thick cut slab bacon which is slowly roasted and cooked until golden-brown is finished in the broiler with honey-bourbon glaze, bringing diners a touch of mature whiskey at its end.

Morton’s wide range of incredible dessert choices, especially famed for the Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake, now welcomes a new addition-White Chocolate Bread Pudding (RMB125). Homemade bread pudding made with white chocolate chips and pecans, served atop bourbon caramel sauce, topped with vanilla ice cream and white chocolate confetti adds a sensational twist to this much loved, old fashioned dessert.
