Marie Sulda, Founder of Kaleidoscopic Travel states that the most common question she gets is “Why would you use a Travel Agent, I could do that myself online?”

“We are now moving into an era of Travel by Design. Every traveler is looking for a unique holiday experience.”
Travel Design takes into account the personality of the individual, their likes and dislikes and their budget.
Marie says: “By sitting down and having a relaxed conversation about the experience someone wants to have on their travels, an experienced Travel Designer, will be able to match the right products so they will have the best holiday or business trip.”
Kaleidoscopic Travel also recently launched an online travel store to help out their time poor clients.
Marie adds: “We are drawing on over 100 years of travel experience between our Travel Designers and they really know the best clothes to pack, what luggage will suit their client’s adventure and how to pack for the destination they are visiting. Our clients are time poor and there is nothing worse than running around to several shops before your holiday trying to pick up individual items, now they have a one stop shop and it will be delivered to their door”.
Travel Designers are trained to curate individual experiences for customers within their own personal price range and then recommend any accessories that may make their trip easier prior to departure.

Tips for choosing a Travel Designer.
Marie says: “A good Travel Designer is like a chameleon, they will be able to put themselves in your shoes and design a holiday that is about you. If it is your first time choosing, you may want to look for the below tips to guide you. ”

  1. Check the Designers Social Media accounts and Blogs – do you like what you see?
  2. Has the Travel Designer been to the destination you’re travelling to?
  3. What does the Travel Designer specialise in, Luxury, Active Holidays, Cruising or Family Holidays? What will suit your initial holiday needs
