The highly anticipated Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS) will participate in the Travel Malaysia Fair 2017 from 21 – 23 April, at Singapore EXPO Convention & Exhibition Centre.
As one of Perak State Tourism’s catalyst project, the participation at the Travel Fair will pave way for MAPS to position itself as a must-visit international destination especially in the Singapore market. Asia’s first animation theme park will also be announcing its range of international offerings including state-of-the-art attractions, shows and entertainment as well as thematic restaurants.
Ramelle Ramli, MAPS Board of Director, welcomes the Fair’s visitors, “Singapore has been one of the Top 10 generating markets for Malaysia in terms of tourism. Our statistics has shown that Malaysia received more than 6.5 million Singaporean tourists’ arrivals in the first half of 20161. With much appreciation, I am very pleased to further extend an additional tourist attraction to our counterparts, in support of the State and Tourism Perak. Ramelle continued, “With MAPS offering 23 interactive attractions, 15 fun and thrilling rides, 5 international shows and entertainment and other uniquely themed restaurants, MAPS will be a great place for a family getaway on weekends and holidays.”
In the upcoming Travel Malaysia 2017 Fair, visitors to MAPS booth number F05, Hall 6A will get to meet and greet Papa Smurf and Smurfette from the famous ‘The Smurfs’ animated film. There will also be MAPS goodies to be given away for those who visits the booth.
Single Day Passes are currently sold online at MYR 152.00 for Adults and MYR 120.00 for Children (age 3-12) and Senior Citizen. (*Nett prices including Government Service Tax)
Visitors to the fair, however, can grab Adult Passes at SGD 42.00 or MYR 133.00 (normal price at SGD 60.00 or MYR190.00) and Children (age 3-12) and Senior Citizen Passes at SGD 33.00 or MYR 105.00 (normal price at SGD 47.00 or MYR150.00). Ticket prices mentioned are available during the fair only and is valid for three months from the official opening date, other terms and conditions apply.

With their continuous efforts to promote MAPS as an international tourist destination, MAPS will also be participating in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM). ATM will take place in the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) from 24 to 27 April 2017. The four-day exhibition roadshow targets over 26,000 buyers and trade visitors, generating more than $2.5 billion of travel industry deals.
Spanning across 52 acres of land, the theme park is expected to draw more than 1 million visitors annually upon it’s opening.
