Moxy Hotels Premieres Second Season of Original Web Series “Do Not Disturb” Hosted by Comedian Taryn Southern
Moxy Hotels, Marriott International’s experiential hotel brand, in collaboration with Marriott’s Content Studio, premieres today the second season of the brand’s buzzed-about original web series “DO NOTDISTURB” hosted by Taryn Southern, the comedian, creator and star of Taryn TV.
“The stars of our second ‘DO NOT DISTURB’ series are hilarious, entertaining and edgy, just like the fun-hunters who sleep with us at Moxy Hotels,” said Toni Stoeckl, VP Lifestyle Hotels, Marriott International.
“The series is intended to drive consistent engagement giving guests and fans even more fun and playful moments that are sure to get people talking,” said Vicki Poulos, Global Brand Director, Moxy Hotels. “We saw great levels of engagement from our target customers with the ‘Do NOT Disturb’ launch last year; viewers engaged with over 2,000 hours of brand content and the series generated +135,000 engagements on Instagram, thanks to our influencers and celebrities.”
Set-up as a slumber party, the second season of “DO NOT DISTURB” was taped at the recently opened Moxy New Orleans and Moxy Berlin Ostbahnhof, during the hotels’ epic grand opening parties. In the second season, Southern interviews and gossips with comedian David So, DJ Amy Pham and British YouTube stars Jack Maynard and Oli White about their travel habits and quirky cultural experiences on the road. Southern gets playful answers to the questions you only wish you could ask a celebrity at 2am in their hotel room.
“The second season of Moxy’s original web series reinforces our strategy of delivering creative storytelling that captivates our millennial-minded audience,” said David Beebe, vice president, Creative and Content Marketing at Marriott International.
