A3C6E3FD-6AD5-4676-AD3A-ACAA104FDEC6The implications of the recently announced Helloworld development, new MTA – Mobile Travel Agents Member fee structures and a new Member rewards and recognition incentive will feature high on the agenda next month when MTA senior management hit the road for the annual two week long national Member Updates programme.

Structured to take place from 02-13 December in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, the updates programme will give joint managing directors, Roy and Karen Merricks and CEO, Don Beattie the opportunity to update the MTA Membership on the slew of changes the company intends implementing from 01 January 2014.

These include the re-designed monthly fee structure and the new multi-tiered ‘Rewards & Recognition Programme’ earnings-based incentive scheme, all of which were announced at last month’s ‘MTA – more than expected’ national conference in Canberra.

The regional meetings will also provide MTA management with an opportunity to introduce the recently launched raft of innovative, high tech tools designed to build on the company’s existing Virtual Office (VO) technology.

Mr Merricks said the regional meetings provide the perfect platform for senior management to get back to “grass roots” with the MTA Members and especially those who were unable to attend the national conference.

“More to the point, these regional meetings give the MTA Members an opportunity to address any issues directly with senior management on a face to face basis,” Mr Merricks said.

“The meetings will also allow us to discuss the launch of the new ATAS scheme and the forthcoming industry workshops as well as the recent Helloworld development and the implications this could have for the retail sector,

“As importantly, the regional meetings offer an excellent opportunity for senior management to get back to grass roots with the MTA Members, to discuss all the internal developments coming on line and chart the benefits all MTA Members will accrue from these changes.

“This year has been a massive year for MTA but we see 2014 as being an even bigger year for the brand.”

The regional meetings will take place as follows:

02 December – Brisbane

04 December –Sydney

09 December –Melbourne

10 December –Adelaide

13 December –Perth
