MTA Members discover Myanmar

Pictured in front of the magnificent Ananda Temple in Myanmar’s Bagan region, the group of MTA – Mobile Travel Agents’ members fortunate to take part in an exclusive study tour of this fast developing destination as guests of Trails of Indochina. 

While in Myanmar the group experienced a stay in Yangon where they had the opportunity to inspect the capital’s range of accommodation and enjoy sightseeing before boarding Heritage Lines’ luxury river cruiser Anawrahta for a four-night cruise visiting the regions of Sagaing, Yanderbo, Pakokku and Bagan en route.

An undoubted highlight of the program was a visit to the Bagan region, home to more than 2000 temples, stupas and pagodas spread over a 30 kilometre area.
