Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), an agency under the Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia leads a group of 21 industry partners to participate in the IT&CMA tradeshow in Bangkok, Thailand as part of its promotional drive to attract more corporate and incentive groups to Malaysia.
The Incentive Travel & Conventions, Meetings Asia (IT&CMA) is held from 29 September to 1 October 2015 and expecting to receive 2,500 Asia Pacific and International Delegates. The tradeshow brings together international exhibitors and buyers in one dynamic marketplace.

MyCEB’s latest promotional campaign, “Malaysia Like Never Before” is tailored to the incentives market, highlighting five key Malaysian destinations for corporate meetings and incentive – Langkawi, Georgetown, Kuala Lumpur, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu. Though already familiar to regulars on the business events circuit, the campaign has rebrand these destinations, guaranteeing a fresh experience to visitors.
Each destination has its own theme, such as ‘Indulge in Cultural Luxury in Georgetown’, ‘Feel the Pulse of Nature in Kota Kinabalu’ and Sail beyond the Horizon in Langkawi’. Check out the website http://www.likeneverbefore.my/ which is available in English, Mandarin and Korean.
Along with Malaysia Like Never Before, MyCEB introduced the Malaysia Twin Deal X (MTDX) Programme, a continuation of its popular Malaysia Twin Deal ++. MTDX comprises of Deal 1 and Deal 2, which provides value added support for international corporate meeting and incentive groups and incentive rewards for international corporate meeting and incentive planners respectively depending on group size. To top it up, corporate and meeting planners stands a chance to qualify for the special cumulative rewards – to bring up to 10 of their top clients to Malaysia for an all paid familiarization trip for 6 days 5 nights. The campaign is supported by 36 participating hotels and resorts and is running until end of 2015.
This is part of MyCEB initiative to support the Malaysia Year of Festival – MyFEST 2015. Themed ‘Endless Celebrations’, MyFEST 2015 aims to boost Malaysia’s tourism industry by encouraging visitors to stay longer to enjoy festive offerings throughout the year. The initiative honours Malaysia’s endless celebrations of festivals and events that are a result of the country’s rich and diverse cultural heritage. The Bureau hopes to leverage on the campaign as a platform to attract more business events and visitors to support the growth of the business events industry.
