Napoleon Perdis front row at Fashion Festival

From the red carpet of Hollywood to the round runway of Brisbane, when it comes to a fresh new look for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival, who better to add the final touch than makeup maestro Napoleon Perdis?

Australia’s leading makeup artist is heading to the Sunshine State for this year’s revamped Fashion Festival where he’ll have access-all-areas; not only sitting front row, but also working behind-the-scenes with his team to direct the makeup looks for the seven runway shows and Highlights Parade.

Napoleon Perdis has been one of the Fashion Festival’s most steadfast partners, involved since the inaugural event in 2006. Now the man (and name) behind the brand will make the trip, visiting the Fashion Festival for the first time since 2009 – coincidentally, the last year that the Festival was hosted at Brisbane City Hall.

“I’m thrilled to be returning to Brisbane in August as a guest of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival,” said Napoleon. “It’s been four years since I’ve been able to attend personally so I can’t wait to get backstage and create the Spring/Summer looks we’ve been working on.”

Napoleon will also have his time in the spotlight, as Brisbane beauty enthusiasts get a rare, up-close glimpse at the latest looks and trends for the new season in a one-off and free public appearance: Napoleon Perdis – Top 5 Looks.

Direct from Los Angeles, Napoleon and his talented National Creative Team will take to the Queen Street Mall stage on Friday, 30 August from 12.30pm to present his seasonal trend forecast of the five key make-up looks for Spring/Summer, teach guests how to translate the glamour of the runway into real life, and reveal his favourite backstage beauty tips and tricks.

“Brisbane is one of my favourite cities and such a strong market for Napoleon Perdis. I always leave the city feeling so energized, inspired, and so supported by our local staff and customers,” said Napoleon.
