The National Wine Centre’s executive chef Steven Clark has unveiled an entirely new series of delectable functions menus for the coming cooler months that will no doubt aid the iconic Adelaide venue in winning even more industry awards.
Boasting six rooms providing a capability to host from 10 guests right up to a ‘venue takeover’ for 1000+ in a unique setting overlooking the magnificent Botanic Gardens to the west and its own vineyards to the east, the National Wine Centre is conveniently located on the north eastern corner of the Adelaide CBD.
With South Australia’s abundant fresh produce offerings, all items on the new functions menus have a heavy local South Australian focus – from the interactive cocktail station options to the sea and land trio entrée plates. For those who truly want to indulge in the very best of South Australia, the magnificent seafood degustation and regional tasting menu options cannot be overlooked.
To coincide with this its new functions packages, the venue has also opened up its magnificent open cellar – the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, to offer an exciting and unique dining opportunity. Surrounded by around 40,000 bottles from every wine region of Australia this truly bespoke experience with a hand-crafted three-course menu with personally matched wines by the National Wine Centre’s sommelier, is an experience like no other for smaller groups who truly appreciate fine wine and great food.
