TravelManagers’ 2014 national conference begins with conference registration followed by an opportunity for personal travel managers to network and experience the best of Singapore through a variety of optional activities.

A visit to Singapore wouldn’t be complete without visiting the iconic Raffles Hotel synonymous with Singapore. Personal travel managers will visit the exclusive, historic, colonial style hotel and savour the delights of a Tiffin High Tea followed by sampling a Singapore Sling, a cocktail made famous at the Long Bar.

“We know everyone that visits Singapore, Raffles is on their must see list!  It’s our duty as inspiring travel creators to ensure we give our clients the most up to date information and tips to ensure their experience is the best it can be. We just had to sample the legendary Raffles High Tea and unnamed (3)Singapore Sling – it’s a tough job but someone has to do it, laughs Tania Pickering, representative for Ballajura, Western Australia.

Personal travel managers will also take the opportunity to undertake a comprehensive hotel inspection of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel.   An integrated resort complex located at Marina Bay it boosts a hotel, convention and exhibition facilities, theatres, entertainment venues, retailers and restaurants. It is estimated to be the worlds most expensive building complex costing $US4.7 billion.

“I can’t wait to see the rooftop pool, the concept just seems unbelievable.  The pictures show an impressive 150 metres across the SkyPark, 57 storeys above the ground with views out across the Singapore skyline. A view with an absolute difference,” says Nicole Edgar, representative for Narre Warren South, Victoria.

A welcome cocktail party allowing TravelManagers’ national partnership office, their personal travel managers, guest speakers and suppliers to mix and mingle is the perfect way to end the first day of the national conference.

An extensive agenda is planned for days two and three of the 2014 TravelManagers national conference which is being held from 15 – 17 August at Raffles City Convention Centre in Singapore.
