The award-winning AYANA Resort and Spa has launched exclusive new massage treatments developed by renowned Japanese orthopaedic and anti-aging expert Tadashi Nakatsuji, to specifically target muscular complaints and enhance facial skin elasticity.

Body Massage (3)The Renewing range of massage treatments use “The Nakatsuji Method” following an intense training program at Thermes Marins Bali Spa’s on-site training facility at AYANA. Eight certified Thermes Marins therapists completed 150 hours of training with Nakatsuji to learn his signature technique and how it relates to the anatomy to treat specific health conditions.

The therapists consult with guests before their treatment, and target the required areas during the massage. Guests may choose to focus on their face or body, or experience the complete package:

  • 50-minute Renewing Face Massage: A face and neck massage to shape the face, reduce the appearance of fine lines, and stimulate collagen production. This massage uses grapeseed almond oil, rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids to nourish and soften the skin, and concludes with Nakatsuji’s own trademark anti-aging facial cream. Rp1,000,000++
  • 60-minute Renewing Body Massage: An oil-free full body massage using a special pressure point technique to target areas of muscular pain, assist with slimming, and detoxify the body by enhancing lymphatic drainage. The shoulder and head massage alleviates headaches and tension caused by poor posture and prolonged computer use. Rp1,100,000++
  • 90-minute Anti-Aging Body and Face Massage: The complete package, with a 60-minute Renewing Body Massage followed by a 30-minute Renewing Face Massage. Rp1,600,000++
