Harbour Grand Kowloon is delighted to announce the appointment of Marco Furlan as the new Chef de Cuisine of Waterfront Bar and Terrace with immediate effect.
Defined himself as a good researcher of Mediterranean recipes and special ingredients, Marco is an Italian seasoned chef who brings over 25 years of worldwide culinary experience. Chef Marco has climbed the hospitality ranks since his early career as the head chef of Ristorante Al Pestello in Italy and the Executive Sous Chef of Sir Hudson International in Hong Kong. Later in 2011, Chef Marco joined Miramar Group as the Head Chef and took the lead in opening the first Italian Restaurant, Assaggio Trattoria Italiana, within the group.
In his new role, Chef Marco will oversee daily kitchen operations and menus, ensuring the highest standard of culinary experience are executed at Waterfront Bar and Terrace.
On his appointment, Director of Food and Beverage, Giovanni Di Russo says, “We are pleased to welcome Chef Marco to the team, and we are certain that a chef of Marco’s calibre helps us continue to elevate the food & beverage programme as well as our guests’ dining experience.”
