Adding to its already impressive portfolio of over 50 tours, ranging from 3 to 75 days across all 50 States plus Canada, Central and South America, TrekAmerica’s new brochure really has something for everyone: A range of accommodations, group sizes, budget, duration and of course, epic itineraries.

New Plus Tours

11 impressive tours, carefully designed with flexibility in mind; allowing travellers to build their perfect adventure by combining bite-sized itineraries, ranging from 9-23 days and stretching from, at its furthest San Francisco or Los Angeles to New York, from AU $2,149 / NZ $2,259pp.

New Plus Tours are based on two cross-country ‘hero tours’ – New York to Los Angeles and San Francisco to New York, with nine other itineraries making up smaller sections of the two routes – stopping at some of the most exciting cities and beautiful National Parks in the States. Offering the best of both worlds: Big-hitting shorter tours with all the creature comforts – twin share hotels in great locations, but with the potential to ‘go large’ – bolting on more bite sized chunks and extending travel plans to discover even more of the US on an epic road trip, TrekAmerica style!

Two New Tours For Music Lovers

Two new festival focused, New Orleans tours for 2018/19. The Big Easy Music Festival Tour kicks off at New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival – departing 3rd May ’18 whilst Mardi Gras and the Sunshine State Tour commences during Mardi Gras in time for Fat Tuesday celebrations – departing 2nd March ’19.  Both tours then road trip down the Sunshine State of Florida – taking in the beaches of Destin, Orlando’s theme parks and culminating in Miami’s art deco South Beach.

The Big Easy Music Festival – from AU $3,149 / NZ $3,309pp: Previously headlined by the likes of Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran, Snoop Dog and Kings of Leon, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival is attended by over 430,000 visitors each year and is one of the world’s top international music events. With tickets included in the price, the tour spends three days in New Orleans at the festival, it’s infamous after parties and secret gigs – showcased by a local TrekAmerica tour guide. The group then boards a private mini van and cruises down the Emerald Coast to enjoy a well-earned beach day in Destin; before heading to the home of theme parks, where thrill seekers can go wild at Universal Studios and big kids can check out Disney! After two fun-filled days, the tour concludes in the chic metropolis of Miami.

Mardi Gras and the Sunshine State – from AU $2,719 / NZ $2,859pp: Starting with a bang, this new tour spends four days at the world’s biggest party. Mardis Gras. Streets are filled with lavish floats, incredible fancy dress and an infectious carnival atmosphere! A truly unique Southern experience, the group will dance the night away at a classic Bourbon Street Balcony Party, tour the city and enjoy delicious Creole and Cajun food. On the way out of town, the group visits the alligators in the lush Honey Island Swamp, before hitting Florida’s beaches and theme parks – finishing with a visit to Miami’s South Beach.
