New Interest in New Zealand

New Zealand is generating a raft of new bookings according to APT’s General Manager Marketing and Sales, Debra Fox, “We’re seeing a renewed focus amongst Australian guests on New Zealand as a destination.

Demand is definitely up across all of our products and we’re predicting a strong season.”

Launching its latest brochure this week, APT’s new program features nine itineraries offering a total of 197 departures.

New highlights include the addition of luxury five-star accommodation at Te Waonui Forest Retreat eco retreat at Franz Josef Glacier, where guests enjoy a special four-course degustation dinner; and a stay at The Hermitage, Mount Cook, where guests all unnamed (1)have rooms with a view of the mountain.

APT is offering a choice of six special SuperDeals including a ‘Fly Free’ offer if you book any New Zealand holiday of 18 days or more before the 31 July 2014, a saving of up to $1,300 per couple. Also available is an Earlybird saving of 10 percent off your tour if you book and pay 12 months in advance, offering couples the chance to save up to $1,700. For solo travellers, APT is offering 50 percent off the solo supplement for all departures between October to April 2014, a saving of up to $1,250 per person.

Most popular tour is the 18-day Royal Tourer which takes guests on a journey from North Island to South, taking in Auckland, Bay of Islands, Rotorua, Queenstown, Milford Sound, Franz Josef and Mount Cook. Guests enjoy APT’s Freedom of Choice Touring in six locations and Freedom of Choice dining in two locations. Signature Experiences include a visit to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, a dolphin watching cruise in the Bay of Islands, a Maori Hangi feast in Rotorua, a cruise aboard the Interislander Ferry, a ride on the TranzAlpine train and a cruise along the full length of the Milford Sound.

Priced from $5,995 per person, the Royal Tourer includes 29 meals, visits to five national parks, a range of Maori cultural touring activities led by local guides, the services of an APT Tour Director, airport transfers on the first and last day of the tour, all accommodation, sightseeing and entry fees.
