New Itineraries and Four Brand New Destinations for Australia’s Favourite Cruise Ship, Celebrity Solstice in 2018/19

Celebrity Cruises has announced details of its seventh Australian cruise season, including four brand new South Pacific destinations in Tonga, Samoa and American Samoa^. The modern luxury cruise line will also introduce overnight calls in Hobart and Tauranga, and will offer a roundtrip sailing from Auckland for the very first time.

The newly refurbished Celebrity Solstice will offer 16 cruises, calling at 37 ports in 11 countries, including Australia, New Zealand, French Polynesia, Hawaii, New Caledonia, Fiji, Loyalty Islands and Vanuatu; as well as Tonga, Samoa and American Samoa for the first time. 2018/19 Itineraries range from nine to 19 nights with departures from Sydney, Auckland, Fremantle and Honolulu.

“We’re very proud to introduce Samoa, American Samoa and Tonga for the first time, with calls to Apia in Samoa and Pago Pago in American Samoa, as well as Vava’u and Nuku’alofa in the Kingdom of Tonga.

“As well, we’ll be introducing a roundtrip cruise from Auckland in New Zealand for the first time, making a cruise with Celebrity easier than ever before for our kiwi guests, and allowing our Australian guests to combine a land holiday in New Zealand with their cruise.

“Overnight calls in Hobart and Tauranga will offer guests more time and opportunity to explore the natural beauty, culture and culinary delights of these destinations.

“And back by popular demand – we’ve added a favourite itinerary from West Australia to New Zealand to the 2018/19 season line up,” Armstrong concluded.

Highlights of Celebrity Solstice’s 2018/2019 season in Australia and New Zealand include:

  • 10 to 14 night Australia/New Zealand cruises, including roundtrip Sydney and Sydney to Auckland (and vice versa)
