New Kuta Hotel a Lexington Legacy Introduces Executive Chef of the property, I Made Jesna. In realizing his vision for the property’s restaurant and pool side bar, Chef Jesna has summed up his hotelier experience which includes Aston Denpasar City hotel, The Legian, and Club Med Bali.

He knows the inside and out of his kitchen, and work extremely well with his staff. His amazing coordination and dynamic will ensure guests an unforgettable dining experience at New Kuta Hotel. With 24 years of experience, Chef Jesna keeps on raising the bar for himself.

Chef Jesna’s expertise in Indonesian cuisine has often sent him off to places around the world. He spent several months in Japan and Maldives to promote Indonesian and Balinese food. To create the menu of Kayumanis, the main restaurant of the property, he created “Local Flavors,” combining dishes enhanced with regional and local ingredients, among them his signature dish, Crispy Balinese Duck. From its terrace, Kayu Manis offers exceptional views of the outside double cascade swimming pool and a panoramic ocean view.

The Sunset Pool Bar is the perfect place for an outstanding evening by the lush gardens and the serene pool ambiance. Together with his team, Chef Jesna created something fun for the hotel guest to enjoy amidst the relaxing space: Poolside BBQ. Guests of New Kuta Hotel can enjoy the fresh seafood and BBQ. They also have Balinese BBQ and a special pasta night so that there will be something different for every guest, every day.
