For the first time, one of the NSW South Coast’s most beautiful camping locations, Coolendel, on the Shoalhaven River, is offering glamping on its peaceful riverbanks thanks to a partnership between Coolendel and Flash Camp, Australia’s leading provider of temporary camping and services.

From April 7 – 25, 2017, which includes Easter and Anzac Day, Flash Camp will set up at the Coolendel private camping reserve amongst the tranquil surrounds of the upper reaches of the Shoalhaven River, 2.5 hours from Sydney and 30 minutes from Nowra. Nature lovers will appreciate the peace and quiet and the rare opportunity to completely switch off and spend quality time with friends and family.

“Glamping at Coolendel is the perfect getaway where you can unplug and unwind this Easter,” says Ben Hutchings from Flash Camp. “It feels beautifully remote and is an easy drive from Sydney. The natural bush and pristine river location is ideal for getting back to life’s more simple pleasures’.

Specially designed for Australian conditions, the bell inspired ‘Flash Tent’ comes with a king-sized mattress on timber pallets, solar lighting, table and chairs, Biology toiletries, timber chest, Armadillo rug and all bedding to ensure a great night’s sleep. For families and children, there will also be the traditional Bell Tent option with quality Coleman air beds, solar light and bedding to match.

Guests will have access to all the regular Coolendel amenities including hot showers and BBQ facilities as well as a communal Flash Camp tented area with seating, fairy lights and campfire for cooking on and gathering around under the stars with friends old and new.

Situated on 52 hectares of bushland, Coolendel offers the quintessential camping experience with secluded, grassy areas shared with abundant wildlife such as wombats, goannas, wallabies and native birds. Visitors can enjoy bushwalking, canoeing, biking and fishing as well as camp-based games.

The Bell Tents are available from $110 per night midweek, $130 per night on weekends and $150 a night over Easter (April 14-16), with a three-night minimum stay over Easter.

The premium Flash Tents are available from $160 per night midweek, $190 per night on weekends and $220 a night over Easter (April 14-16), with a three-night minimum stay over Easter.

The tents are available at Coolendel from April 7 to 25, 2017. Rates cover tent hire, with campers bringing their own food to enjoy in the bush.
