New Product, New Destination, New Brochures

LEADING Asia tour operator for 21 years, Wendy Wu Tours, has launched its new program for 2016 with the introduction of four styles of touring which includes 15 new tour itineraries as well as the addition of one of the hottest destinationsMaldives.

Styles of touring include the ‘Classic Group Tours’ on which the company‘s reputation has been built, offering great value for money and fully inclusive itineraries. New ‘Discovery  Tours’ have been introduced  to offer a more active program with up close and personal cultural experiences in lesser visited locations with intimate groups of up to 18 people. The ‘Deluxe’ range has been designed for the more discerning traveller looking for unique experiences, often with activities exclusive to Wendy Wu Tours, along with the highest level of accommodation. The fourth style is the range of  private tours and tailor made arrangements- ideal for independent travellers.


Managing Director Alan Alcock said that a combination of the company’s extensive experience and extremely useful feedback from retail agents and customers had been utilised in the new approach to the styles of touring as well as an entire re-design of the brochures.


He added, “The new categories have been designed to capture a wider market of Australian travellers, by offering a variety of styles to suit all types of travellers from active seniors to inquisitive adventure seekers and high-end guests


“We have introduced a clearer brochure layout that will help agents and consumers find relevant information and ways of combining product to create the perfect holiday for each individual”.


The introduction of the Maldives in the India brochure is the result of a combination of an increased demand in clients wanting to partake in a group tour and then extend their holiday with private arrangements, such as a beach stay in one of the many Maldivian resorts.


The vibrant brochure layout includes up-sell boxes to assist agents in increasing their sales commission, precise and dedicated colour coded sections for each product range with more imagery to catch the eye, the new point of difference page- ten reasons to choose Wendy Wu Tours, clearer maps and more detailed descriptions resulting in a more user-friendly format in the brochure.


Also included is more information on the important roles of the national escorts and local guides, as well as more testimonials from past and repeat customers.
