New Purpose-Built Russian River Cruise Ship

Artist impression of Volga Dream IIRIVER cruising specialists Beyond Travel have announced that the first purposed built river cruise vessel for Russia in over 20 years, the Volga Dream II, will begin voyages along Russia’s Volga River in 2015 and to celebrate they are offering a range of incentives for bookings made and deposited by April 30 this year.

Save up to $1295 per couple on the new 13-day cruise from Moscow to St Petersburg on board the deluxe vessel which boasts 30 deluxe staterooms, 37 veranda staterooms and  12 executive suites, a large sundeck with Lido bar, a lounge and dining room with alfresco seating, a conference hall, library and coffee station.

Beyond Travel has also introduced bonus “culture credits” of $150 per couple which can be redeemed against theatre tickets in Russia, such as the Bolshoi, Kirov, Moscow Circus and more. Or if theatre isn’t your thing, other cultural activities available through Beyond Travel can be arranged to suit individual traveller’s needs.

This exciting new itinerary includes port visits to the riverside towns of Uglich and Yaroslavl, part of the Golden Ring, Goritzy, Kizhi, Lake Oneg as well as two days sight-seeing in both Moscow and St Petersburg.

A point of difference with this deluxe cruise package is that passengers stay in five-star hotels located in the centre of Moscow and St Petersburg and being well placed to explora the cities highlights. All shore excursions are in small groups, no larger than 25 guests, to offer each traveller an intimate experience.
