New ships & unique ports of call: All in PONANT’s new Mediterranean & Northern Europe brochure

March 1, 2018 Cruise No Comments Email Email

PONANT, the world’s only French-owned cruise line, has released its brochure presenting Mediterranean & Northern Europe itineraries for the April to November 2019 season. The cruise company is offering the chance to discover or rediscover a unique heritage by sea aboard its ships, including the latest additions to its PONANT EXPLORERS series, Le Bougainville and Le Dumont-d’Urville.
Maiden season for two ships in the PONANT EXPLORERS series: Le Bougainville and Le Dumont-d’Urville. The northern summer 2019 season shines the spotlight on Le Bougainville and Le Dumont-d’Urville. These exceptional new-generation ships in the PONANT EXPLORERS series combine a smaller capacity (92 staterooms) and respect for the environment (Cleanship label awarded by Bureau Veritas).

Equipped with a dynamic marina platform enabling guests to swim and engage in other activities directly from the ship, as well as a submersible mini-port providing easy access to a number of nautical activities (kayaking, paddle boarding, water skiing and more), these new stars of the fleet also boast a multi-sensory underwater lounge called Blue Eye, offering guests a new experience of the subaquatic world.
46 cruises to the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, including 5 new itineraries: From the Adriatic to the Aegean Sea, and the Atlantic coast to the Baltic Sea, Europe represents a unique travel experience. For the April to November 2019 period, 46 cruises to the Mediterranean and Northern Europe have been carefully designed by the PONANT experts, including 5 new itineraries and unique ports of call such as Gytheio, Syracuse and Brindisi.

Culture or relaxation, landmarks or exceptional natural sites… PONANT offers itineraries for discovering little-known destinations that are inaccessible to larger ships, as well as the most beautiful sailing spots in the Mediterranean: the Bay of Kotor, the Corinth Canal, Bonifacio and its white cliffs, or Stromboli…

On board, the French touch is evident in the elegant design, the personalised service and the fine cuisine.

An exceptional musical cruise programme: Combining the charms of music and the sea, be enthralled daily by concerts and guest speakers. With 4 cruises run in partnership with Radio Classique guests will be able to meet and engage with some of the most prestigious concert musicians and performers, including world renowned pianist Alain Duault.

Jazz violinist Didier Lockwood and singer-songwriter Robert Charlebois will also be special guests on 2 cruises through the Adriatic.
