New site for on-line cruise bookings

August 5, 2014 OTA News No Comments Email Email

AFTER 15 years as car rental and leasing specialists Sydney-based globalCARS have taken to the water and launched a comprehensive on-line booking site for cruise holidays throughout the world.

The new site is found at and enables searches related to 4000 voyages with more than 20 of the world’s leading cruise operators.

globalCARS director Andrew Morgan says that the site can be used to identify  cruise lines by name, departure port, departure date and ship name.

Mr. Morgan guarantees lowest cruise prices and offers  lay-by payments and will hold cabins without credit card down payments.

The site features premium cruise brands such as P&O offering  up  to $600  on-board spending per cabin on some voyages,  reduced deposits for 2015 sailings, Early bird fares and a range of other incentives.

Royal Caribbean also have a current major sale offering more than 100 Pacific, South Pacific and Australian and New Zealand voyages with special bonuses and on-board credits valid for departures till April 2016.

One of the most tangible benefits of a cruise holiday is the nearly all-inclusive pricing. Though port excursions are not included in the initial fare, the price of a cruise generally covers all accommodation, meals and a wide variety of entertainment.

Mr Morgan said that if travellers were to purchase each of these items (of comparable quality) separately for a land-based holiday, the cost could easily be several hundred dollars greater.
