The South Australian Wildlife Adventure tour includes snorkelling with sea lions, hand-feeding tuna, walking among seals at Seal Bay, kayaking, sandboarding and even an option to cage dive with Great White Sharks.

“If you love seeing animals in the wild and have a thirst for adventure, this tour will be the highlight of your travels,” Business Development Manager, Andy Meikle from Kangaroo Island Adventure Tours, says.

“We visit some of the most remote and unspoilt places in Australia and while the experience is wild, our small group touring buses and accommodation are modern and comfortable, our guides passionate and our food superb.”

Kangaroo Island Adventure Tours has partnered with Australian Wildlife Adventures to offer the new tour which departs every Thursday and on Thursdays and Saturdays during the summer months from December to March.

Designed for the independent adventure traveller, it takes in two regions of Australia recognised for their stunning beaches, breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife.

Highlights of the visit to Kangaroo Island include travelling to see Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch, free use of kayaks and bikes at Vivonne Bay Lodge, sandboarding at Little Sahara, seeing kangaroos and koalas and getting up close to sea lions at Seal Bay.

Eyre Peninsula offers visitors the chance to hand-feed and swim with tuna, snorkel with wild sea lions, bushwalk through a coastal national park and visit Port Lincoln, the seafood capital of Australia.

For the more adventurous, a one-day Great White Shark cage diving tour is available for an extra $495 per person, including wetsuit hire and a DVD package, normally $75.

The five-day South Australian Wildlife Adventure costs $1245 per person, a saving of $81 on booking the same tours to both regions separately. This includes one night on Kangaroo Island, one night in Adelaide and two nights on the Eyre Peninsula.
