2015 Travellers Choice today unveiled the latest instalment in its ground-breaking digital marketing strategy, with a new support service that allows members to outsource the management of their websites, social media activities and database marketing, while also rolling out a next generation corporate website.
The award-winning group’s new Digital Managed Services offering is designed to free Travellers Choice members from the ongoing management of their individual digital marketing activities.
The new service provides extensive support in areas such as:
- managing custom content on a member’s website
- conducting tailored search engine optimisation (SEO) to improve website rankings
- purchasing online advertising space on members’ behalf (SEM)
- managing members’ social media activities through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- handling all database marketing communications on a member’s behalf.
Chief Executive Christian Hunter says that effectively dealing with these increasingly sophisticated activities requires significant time, creativity and expertise.
“These are resources that are not readily available within all travel agency businesses,” Hunter says.
“Utilising this new service will enable our members to shift their focus from driving digital traffic and enquiries to converting increased digital traffic and growing sales, which is where their time is best spent.”
Travellers Choice also revealed a new corporate website to members attending its Annual Shareholders’ Conference in Melbourne today.
The new-look site is designed to be even more effective at channelling business to Travellers Choice agents. Enhancements include a responsive, mobile-friendly design, enabling pages to auto-adjust depending upon the device on which they are being viewed, and the integration of location services to deliver highly-targeted content to users.
Hunter says that social sharing tools also now enjoy more prominence on the site, while a new travel blog will increase engagement and lift the site’s search engine rankings.
“In addition, we have created new opportunities to heighten visibility of our individual members, including a ‘Meet an Agent’ section, which profiles members in the same state as the website visitor, and ‘Find an Agent’ functionality that now integrates with Google maps.”
The new site also offers improved tracking capabilities in order to help the group’s marketing team optimise campaign performance and conversion rates.
