New Year’s Delight at Bradleys Head

Celebrate the new year with the whole family at Bradleys Head, one of the best vantage points in Sydney Harbour National Park to experience the city’s party of the year.

This all-ages venue on the Harbour’s northern foreshore offers uninterrupted views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House, and a natural stage from which to watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks.

IRF Bradleys Head Sydney 20130A variety of entertainment on the Athol Lawn and the Amphitheatre will help Bradleys Head revellers ring in the new year. Bring your own picnic or take advantage of food vendors within the precinct as the sun sets and Sydney counts down to 2014.

New Year’s Eve tickets for Bradleys Head are $50 for adults, $25 for children and $125 for a family of four, on sale at www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/NYE. Numbers for this alcohol and glass-free NYE location are strictly limited, so book early.

WHERE Bradleys Head – northern foreshore of Sydney Harbour.
WHEN New Year’s Eve – Tuesday December 31 2013. Gates open 1pm. WHO Bradleys Head is a family-friendly NYE venue.

WHAT All-ages, alcohol and glass-free venue to experience the Sydney NYE celebrations, featuring a variety of musical entertainment and children’s activities and attractions. Food is available for purchase at the site.

HOW Tickets will be on sale from 10:00am on Wednesday, 16 October 2013 at www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/NYE. $50 for adults, $25 for children and $125 for a family of four.

DIRECTIONS With road closures in place, ticketholders will be required to walk in to Bradleys Head. Picnic hampers and blankets are encouraged; patrons are advised to bring sunscreen, drinking water, hats, rain ponchos and warm clothing for after dark.

Note, the following will not be allowed into the park: glass, alcohol, tents, shade structures, beach umbrellas, sparklers, fireworks, candles, barbecues and pets.
