The Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte in Viareggio (Lucca), renowned venue for corporate events thanks to both the wide disposability of fully equipped conference rooms and the incomparable Versilian atmosphere, opens its doors to a wide audience with two initiatives at the end of the year. Aside the traditional New Year’s Eve party, which this year will enhance even more than usual the extraordinary in-house banqueting after the Il Piccolo Principe restaurant being for the fourth time in a row appointed with two Michelin stars, on January 20th a highly original event will take place, truly intended for everyone: the tea ceremony according to the ancient Japanese tradition.

New Year’s Eve

Relax, taste and wellness at the end of the year with a special offer, valid from December 29th to January 2nd, to celebrate the arrival of 2018. One or more nights in a double room, access to the 36°C-heated panoramic swimming pool, 50 minutes in the Spa Thermarium path, use of the fitness area, rich buffet breakfast and a daily afternoon snack served with hot chocolate and seasonal delicacies at the bar, top the dinner on 31st December 2017 served in the smart halls of the Regina Restaurant, inside the hotel. Chef Giuseppe Mancino will put his multi-starred art at the guests’ disposal, with a special menu characterized by creatively reinterpreted Versilia’s typicality.

A baby-sitting service during the dinner is available for children aged three and over.

The costs depend on the type of room.

The tea ceremony

On January 20th, the Grand Hotel rooms will host the tea ceremony according to the traditional Japanese rite and clothing. The event is accessible with a ticket of 20 Euros per person. After the ceremony there will be a tasting of a dose of Japanese matcha tea plus a sweet treat.

To the event, which is very important both for the potential number of participants and for the level of the involved personalities, we will dedicate a tailored press release in the days immediately preceding it. «Let us now underline», states the hotel manager Marco Bendotti, «the beginning of a diversification in the range and structure of our events. After enforcing our awareness as a venue for corporate meetings, we want to open the beauty of our rooms and offer our Mice expertise also to new kinds of events as well as to guests who are heterogeneous by both origin and preferences».
