October 21, 2013 Hotel News No Comments Email Email

Discerning travelers and foodies can experience the flavors of New York’s acclaimed Spice Market restaurant while holidaying in stunning Bora Bora by way of a specially tailored menu – available for a limited time only – at the St. Regis Bora Bora’s Lagoon restaurant, also a signature establishment by the renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
Inspired by Vongerichten’s travels to Southeast Asia, the Spice Market menu showcases the dynamic appeal of the cuisine of that region offered at Lagoon as a tasting menu. With each new dish, including the Spiced Chicken Samosas with coriander yoghurt sauce, or theThazard with Malaysian Chilli Sauce, Thai Basil Broccoli and Baby Corn, Lemongrass and Chilli guests can magically experience flavors you would find at a Vietnamese street market or at a Thai food stall.

This special menu, available from now until November 4, 2013, was put together by Aline Engels, Restaurant Manager at Lagoon by Jean Georges. Guests can also enjoy specially concocted savory cocktails like the Lychee Raspberry Bellini, Ginger Margarita or Spicy Bangkok Punch while enjoying inspiring views Mount Otemanu and the soothing turquoise waters of Bora Bora.

In addition to this limited time menu, foodies can enjoy the Resort’s new Italian restaurant, Far Niente, adding to the three on-site dining options currently available. The St. Regis Bora Bora offers the most eateries out of any Resort in French Polynesia.
