Noble Awards – Awards with a Purpose

egtmedia59Now and then when you wander the aisles of an event like AIME you come across something completely different, that makes you stop, think and re-evaluate.

That happened today, when by chance we stumbled upon the Noble Awards stand and the CEO Ian McKay.

At first glance the (small) Nobel Awards stand did not attract much more than a glance – but a sign about a competition caught my eye; it said drop your card in the bowl and if you win we will provide a pig, to family in the Philippines and they will have food for a More-fun-in-the-Philippines_250X250pxmonth.  Now you have to admit, that is different, from the “run of the mill” competitions and prizes on offer at an event like AIME.

So we stopped and talked with Ian and the more we talked the more we felt that we needed to tell his story.

Noble Awards, makes and sells awards; you know plaques, statues, stands and other items that you give to staff or customers of clients as recognition for performance of some sort.  The difference is that a percentage of the profit from the sale of those awards is distributed, via their associated business Noble Endeavors to families and people in need.  So one award, might feed one person, for one week.

Oh – and the next time you want some awards for a ceremony or an event, pop across to and if you want to have a look at how it all works then go to as Ian says “together we can make a difference”!
