A delegation of tourism operators from The Legendary Pacific Coast (TLPC) will participate in a North Coast Destination Network Roadshow showcasing their products to Sydney’s leading Inbound Tour Operators at the end of this month.

Thirty Inbound Tour Operators (ITO) – distributors of tourism product to international markets)  – will meet with up to 18 tourism operators from Port Stephens, Newcastle, The Hunter, Port Macquarie, Coffs Coast, Byron Shire and The Tweed at a business to business workshop being held at Sydney Tower’s Sky Venue on 30 April.

The roadshow is organised by The North Coast Destination Network as part of its international marketing plan, supported by Destination NSW.

“We’ll tell the story of The Legendary Pacific Coast through its key overnight destinations and engage the ITOs with leading tourism products ready for contracting and distribution in international programs,” said NCDN’s International Marketing Specialist Mr Russell Mills.

“The aim is to create a workshop environment to match products and destinations with ITOs customers in innovative and inspiring ways.”

“This is a valuable opportunity for regional tourism operators to engage with the key players in Australia’s inbound distribution system.  For ITOs, it’s a convenient and lucrative opportunity to consider contracting new product and develop incremental business from Australia’s most accessible, year round touring route.” he said.

The roadshow program will include an introduction on The Legendary Pacific Coast, an overview on each represented region and individual appointments with featured product.

“To have the interest and support of leading ITOs is a great accolade for The Legendary Pacific Coast and an indicator of its appeal to a wide range of international markets,” said North Coast Destination Network Executive Officer, Ms Belinda Novicky.

TLPC product currently confirmed featured at the roadshow are (in alphabetical order): Best Western HW Boutique Hotel (Port Macquarie), Byron Eco Cruises (Brunswick Heads), Coffs Coast Skydivers (Coffs Coast), Cookabarra Restaurant & Function Centre (Port Stephens), Friday Creek Retreat (Coffs Coast), Fort Scratchley (Newcastle), Go Sea Kayaks (ByronShire) Medowie Macadamias (Port Stephens), Opal Cove Resort (Coffs Coast), Rydges Port Macquarie, The Observatory (Port Macquarie) , The Hoey Moey (Coffs Coast), The Retreat,  (Port Stephens), Tropical Fruit World (The Tweed).
