Brazil which came out third in 2014, took the second position this year. The Brazilians continued to be well received by the Seychellois public who are always attracted by the dancing performances of the Brazilians.

The delegation from Mauritius, dressed in their colourful attire showcasing “birds of paradise’’, pulled the Bronze trophy and ensured that the Indian Ocean Islands made it to the podium.

Mauritius was absent in the 2014 Carnival International de Victoria but it is vividly remembered by all that they had secured second position in 2013 edition of the carnival in Seychelles.
