Novotel Bangkok IMPACT enjoys sustained success into 2016.
As the only international Hotel in Muang Thong Thani, Novotel Bangkok IMPACT (managed by the global hotel operator AccorHotels) has continued success after reporting over 200% growth year on year in 2015. The Hotel is the only preferred accommodation provider for all IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre convention, meeting and exhibitions, providing unmatched service and accommodation within Thailand’s largest column free convention and events complex.
Gold Bernache, AccorHotels’ highest award for innovation & performance
To complement the success of 2015, the General Manager Fraser McKenzie has been awarded AccorHotels highest award for Innovation & Performance, the Gold Bernache. With just 5 Gold Bernache awarded out of over 180,000 employees, this accolade from company and peers endorses the efforts of the team at the Hotel, supporting each other to excel in all areas of guest experience and Hotel operations.
“I am proud and honoured to accept the award, which reflects the efforts of all my team at the Hotel” Fraser McKenzie continued. ”Without their commitment and enthusiasm, we could not enjoy our ongoing success and play our part in the continued success of IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre”.
The AccorHotels Bernache awards are judged annually, but only presented to those individuals or teams that perform above and beyond, providing exceptional results within their field of expertise.
The Novotel Bangkok IMPACT provides 380 superior accommodation rooms with an all-day dining restaurant The Square and Prego Italian Trattoria, complimented by 94 Bar lobby bar. Ibis Bangkok IMPACT will join the Novotel early 2017 with 580 3-star accommodation rooms, bringing the total available accommodation within the complex to almost 1000 international standard rooms.

IMPACT Muang Thong Thani is Asia’s leading venue
The Centre is equipped with state-of-the-art integrated facilities that offer the ultimate choice for business success on more than 140,000 square m. of floor space. It comprises four large multi-purposed buildings, namely IMPACT Arena, IMPACT Exhibition Center, IMPACT Forum and IMPACT Challenger featuring a total of 12 exhibition and convention halls, one arena hall, two large ballrooms, 52 breakout rooms and two outdoor venues, namely AKTIV Square and IMPACT Lakeside, as well as eight IMPACT restaurants and 30 international dining outlets. The six outdoor and three indoor parking areas can accommodate up to 15,000 vehicles.
IMPACT is set to spend more than 3.5 billion Baht on forthcoming mega projects to enhance its facilities and amenities in Muang Thong Thani and turn the lakeside area into a leisure destination. This project will begin with the development of a 200 million Baht (US$ 5.5 million) theme park sitting along the shore of the lake. In partnership with Sanderson Group, an Australian thematic design and construction company who stood behind the success of Disney Seas in Tokyo and Universal Studios Singapore, this fun-packed family theme park is expected to be completed by late 2017 or early 2018.
Mr. Paul Kanjanapas, Managing Director of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd, comments “Business travellers bringing children on board attending a conference at our venue can leave their kids at the theme park while they are in a meeting. With our one-stop entertainment complex coupled with other state-of-the art facilities and amenities nearby the exhibition centre, the family would end up staying longer and that is exactly what we are looking for.” Coming in early 2017 is a trendy 580-room Ibis Hotel, a substantial addition to the Novotel IMPACT Bangkok.
