NRMA Parks and Resorts have responded to the increased demand for glamping options by opening three new safari tents at their Murramarang Holiday Park.http://www.itb-asia.com/press/media-services/accreditation/

The new camping tents, located just metres from the beach, each offer a kitchenette including microwave and fridge, ensuite, air-conditioning, television and veranda with barbecue.

Safari tents have become popular with holiday-makers not just because of their ease and convenience, but for those looking for a chance to relax and unwind in secluded locations like Murramarang.

NRMA Murramarang Beachfront Holiday Resort is located on the beautiful NSW South Coast, just 15 minutes north east of Batemans Bay. Boasting absolute ocean frontage overlooking the pristine waters of Beagle Bay, holiday makers are able to pick from a range of waterfront accommodation options or caravan and camping sites.

Glamping has enjoyed a recent surge in popularity among families and couples alike. The NRMA now offers glamping options at seven of its parks and resorts.

NRMA Parks and Resorts CEO Paul Davies said Murramarang offered the perfect backdrop for those wishing to try glamping.

“Australians have always had a love affair with camping and caravanning, so glamping is a logical next step in our travelling journey,” Mr Davies said.

“Our Members and customers tell us they are time poor and often don’t have time to pack and set up for a camping trip. Glamping provides a chance to switch off and enjoy the great outdoors without the hassle of finding a camp space or setting up a tent.”

“Murramarang really is the perfect setting for glamping. Waking up to the peaceful sounds of nature, meeting the local wallabies who hop along the garden and falling asleep to the sound of water lapping at the shore is enough to win over the fussiest of travellers.”
