NYC’s Finest Sightseeing Company Adds New Experience to the 11th Annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival Headlined by Common
Hush Tours, New York City’s premiere sightseeing tour company presents Scenes and Soundtracks – a brand-new cinematic experience immersing tourists into the plots and musical themes of Hip-Hop’s cult classic films such as Spike Lee’s Do the Right Thing, Crooklyn and Ernest R. Dickerson’s Juice, to name a few.
In conjunction with the 2015 Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival and Brooklyn Bodega, Hush Tours introduces a fresh multimedia experience through the streets of Brooklyn guided by actor and writer Bonz Malone.

Bonz Malone Bio A former NYC graffiti writer who became a music and culture journalist for SPIN, The Source & Vibe magazines for almost 20 years. His film career started with the movie Juice, which he worked as a script consultant for Chris Blackwell. In 1998, Slam, an independent film co-written by Bonz, won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival and later, the Camera D’or at Cannes. As either, a writer, actor or producer, he has worked on over 25 films including Shaft 2000 with Samuel L. Jackson and LIFE starring Eddie Murphy & Martin Lawrence and has been featured in several platinum selling DVD’s. In 1999, he was made the VP of Film for Offline Entertainment Group. Today, he mentors a select group of writers and industry professionals and has just finished a novel for Random House Publishers.
The three hour celebrity guided tour invites sightseers to bump the ultimate soundtracks from classic African-American films of the early 1990’s. Attendees will enjoy live entertainment on a luxury motor coach as they discover how the landscape of the New York City has evolved while gaining the inside scoop on the production of popular classic films.

This year, Grammy and Oscar award-winning rap artist and actor Common will be headlining the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival. The festival lineup also includes Queens Bridge rap duo Mobb Deep, former Roc-a-fella Records artist Freeway, songwriter and producer Charles Hamilton, DJ Uncle Ralph McDaniels and more. This will be Hush Tours’ first collaboration with Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival.
