On stage and behind the scenes at eight groundbreaking music festivals, broadcast live on Red Bull TV

From June to October 2017, the biggest breakout performances, iconic stages and intriguing festival line-ups will be broadcast in real time thanks to Live Music Festivals on Red Bull TV. Ensuring music fans, from all corners of the globe, feel like industry insiders, eight groundbreaking, impeccably programmed festivals will come to fans live via Red Bull TV – a free digital streaming service, available across all devices.

Music lovers can experience all the behind the scenes and onstage action, with an exciting new perspective that feels just like being there. This exclusive live coverage on Red Bull TV will be delivered by an expert team of hosts including Will Best, Johann Wald, Julie Adenuga at the European festivals, and Sal Masekela and Hannah Rad at the US Festivals. Aside from the onstage sets, Red Bull TV’s coverage will feature interviews, background stories, onstage life, festival atmosphere and much more as it all happens, with plenty of stories from the festivals available to re-live On Demand.

Delivering truly global and genre-spanning coverage, Live Music Festivals on Red Bull TV starts in June at Primavera Sound (Barcelona/Spain) heading around the world to finish seven festivals later at Austin City Limits Music Festival (Austin/US) in mid-October.

Also featured in the series, the brand new one-day festival extravaganza, Demon Dayz, headlined by Gorillaz, which will stream live from Margate, UK on June 10. Marking their welcome return to the live stage since the sold out Plastic Beach World Tour of 2010 the festival debuts at Dreamland, a recently restored amusement park with 1920s fairground rides and interactive art installations. With three stages and an eclectic line-up, the much-anticipated sold out festival will be broadcast live and exclusively to the world through Red Bull TV, as well as hosting content from beyond the stage and on demand highlights across all Red Bull channels.

ELECTRIC DAISY CARNIVAL LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas, USA RED BULL TV Airdates – June 16-18 Hosted by Hannah Rad. Also new to the Red Bull TV schedule this year, the Electric Daisy Carnival is a feast for the senses. ROSKILDE FESTIVAL – Roskilde, Denmark RED BULL TV Airdates – JUNE 28 – July 1 Hosted by Will Best and Johann Wald Located in a field 30 km out of Copenhagen, Roskilde has been running since ’71 and is North Europe’s largest music and culture festival. In 1978, the organizers bought the orange stage off The Rolling Stones on a European tour. The Orange Stage and its arches have become a wellknown symbol for the festival. LOLLAPALOOZA – Chicago, USA RED BULL TV Airdates – August 3-6 Hosted by Sal Masekela and Hannah Rad.
