On The Go Tours, an award-winning tour operator specialising in locally-led group tours and tailor-made holidays to worldwide destinations, have launched a number of departures which offer solo travellers their own room without paying any extra supplements – the first travel company of its kind to do so.

Available on a number of tours to three of their top selling destinations – Egypt, India and Sri Lanka, solo travellers can enjoy  touring with a  room all to themselves at no extra cost. The selected departures are open to everyone, not exclusively single travellers, ensuring a diverse group – typical of On The Go Tours.

“Throughout 2016 we saw an impressive growth in enquiry from single travellers looking to experience a country with fellow like-minded travellers and we are certain this trend will continue throughout 2017,” said Carl Cross, Managing Director of On The Go Tours. “We already run ‘no compulsory single supplements’ on most of our Signature destinations and with the launch of this exciting development we are confident we will be applying this to many more of our destinations.”

As with all On The Go Tours, the trips include enriching travel experiences and local guides on-hand to offer unrivalled knowledge of the country. Here are three of the best-selling group tours now offering absolutely no single supplements for solo travellers on selected departures.
