Last month The Conference Shop travelled south to the NSW and Victorian border to explore the beautiful Riverina region and specifically, the twin cities of Albury/Wodonga.
This lovely region is home to a diverse range of wonderful venues, catering for corporate groups of any size, from small, intimate meetings to conferences of up to 1000 delegates.
Catering and off site food options are aplenty with 78 restaurants, cafes and clubs featuring fresh, regional produce and local wine AND with over 60 accommodation providers across these twin cities, this region can provide your event with up to 4000 beds!
Easily accessible, just 5km from Albury’s city centre and 7km to Wodonga’s CBD, Albury airport is the third busiest airport in regional NSW with around 180 flights in and out of the city each week. Qantas Airlines and Regional Express and Virgin Airlines service this region with direct flights from Sydney and Melbourne getting you there in less then one hour.
The area’s picturesque natural landscape provides an abundance of opportunities for team building activities. The beautiful parklands can be explored by bicycle, or you can relax by the tranquil waters and enjoy a picnic. Along the Murray River you can take in the surrounding sights with a leisurely river cruise or enjoy the river via kayak, canoe or white water rafting – for the really adventurous!
This month the Conference Shop has teamed up with the Atura Albury, a fabulous industrial, urban, art inspired boutique hotel, to offer you a super Winter Day Delegate Special of just $50pp including Function Room hire, standard AV, Morning & Afternoon Teas and a Working Lunch.
Terms and Conditions apply and the offer is valid from June 1st – August 31st
