“We are not just writing about what tourists can do here in Ontario; we are doing it ourselves first. We want to participate in the experience too. Before we can recommend an activity to our readers, we feel it is important to experience it for ourselves first-hand, in order to lend more creditably to what we write. With personal knowledge, we can give a true report and an honest perspective of things to do and vacation activities in Ontario,” states website owner Gord Bell. “So far, in the name of research, I have gone tree top trekking in Muskoka, cruised the Lake of Bays on the S.S. Bigwin steam ship, searched for moose in Algonquin Park, learned to do yoga on a stand up paddle board, bounced on a water trampoline and run off a moonwalk. Next week, I’m going on a Ghost Walk. Trying out all these activities takes some time, but it is fun, and I believe, adds another dimension to the Ontario-Tourist directory website.
