OPENING APRIL: Watch out for Tiger Curry as it heats up Causeway Bay Ferociously delicious, hip new restaurant by Japanese Chef Satoru

Watch out for the tiger as Tiger Curry will open its doors in April with a fiery bang in the heart of Hong Kong’s bustling Causeway Bay neighborhood.

Ferociously delicious, the hip new restaurant and takeout window boasts a secret Japanese recipe created by Chef Satoru (of Sushi Kuu fame) which can only be described by three words: “Sweet… Spicy… Good!”

Based on his childhood experiences of the original Japanese curries from Osaka, Chef Satoru has perfected a unique combination of spices that could knock your socks off: 28 spices to be exact, and none of which are MSG. Tiger Curry will offer many choices of pairings with the savoury, thick sauce including shabu shabu beef, pork cutlet and prawn, and five levels of spiciness to boot, from mild to positively burning hot for anyone who can stomach it.

The chilled out vibe of the eatery is made apparent through its funky design. Mixing elements of Japanese pop culture with modern black and yellow features, Tiger Curry’s key design element will be a three story high wall painted by local Hong Kong-based street artist 4Get, who is known internationally for his geometrical, abstract designs. For patrons looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the surrounding areas, Tiger Curry will be informal, intimate, fun and vibrant, and summer nights will never be the same thanks to its urban backyard – the perfect place to devour a delicious plate of curry with sake, whiskies, wines and beers.

Tiger Curry will be located at G/F 14 Pennington Street, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.
