AFRICAN photo safari specialist Pangolin Photo Safaris has just released special savings of up to $US400 per person twin share on its ‘Two Iconic Rivers Safari’ package in celebration of the opening of its new Pangolin Khwai Camp in Botswana opening in March 2018.  

The new Meru-style tented property is located in the Okavango Delta ecosystem on one of the Northern fingers of the Delta on the Khwai Private Reserve, a 200,000ha private concession.

This seven day itinerary offers the best of both worlds as far as game viewing is concerned. On the Chobe clients will make use of Pangolin’s custom built flat bottomed photo boats with fully rotating chairs and camera mounts. At the Pangolin Khwai camp is located on a private concession game drives can traverse across a huge area with the ability to off road at special sightings as well go on night drives. The Camp has four game viewers which take a maximum of four guests per vehicle. This allows plenty of room for photographers to store kit and get into a comfortable shooting position at sightings.

For guests travelling without their own camera there are complimentary state of the art DSLRs and telephoto lenses available for use at The Pangolin Khwai Camp. The guides who operate the boats and vehicles are all experts in positioning to maximize each photographic opportunity for optimum light and anticipation of the animal’s behaviour.

Now priced from US$2750 per person twin share it includes three nights’ accommodation and full board on the Pangolin Voyager Houseboat, use of Pangolin photo boats and all activities, three nights’ accommodation at Pangolin Khwai Camp with full board, twice daily game drives (only four guests per vehicle), night drives, walking safaris and a Mokoro cruise, all transfers and all park, conservancy fees and tourism levies.

This offer is valid for bookings made before 31st December 2017, for travel from April 1st until June 15th, 2018. Special rates for groups are available upon request.

Internal charter flights from Kasane to Khwai and then on to Maun cost approximately US$600 per person and can be booked through Pangolin Photo Safaris.
