Orchard Hotel Singapore Lights Up A Colourful Season Of Giving

image001This festive season, Orchard Hotel Singapore offers every reason to be jolly with a colourful Christmas celebration for the child in you. Bask in the delightful atmosphere as the hotel transforms into a wonderland of festive fashion, enchanting guests with a life-size Gingerbread House adorned with thousands of delightful rainbow-like Gingerbread Tree Cookies, alongside luscious festive takeaways and gourmet presentations at our award-winning restaurants for cherished moments with loved ones.

As we herald Christmas with our rounds of merrymaking and feasting, let us also celebrate the joy of giving at Orchard Hotel Singapore.

Bring the warmth of the season to the less fortunate children by participating in Orchard Hotel’s “Adopt a Wishing Star” initiative.  This year, the hotel will be collecting hand-written wishes from children of low-income families of Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities Limited and Sengkang Family Service Centre, where hotel staff and guests are encouraged to fulfil their wishes.  Meanwhile, win attractive prizes when you participate in our “Count-the-Trees” Contest by guessing the correct number of cheerily-hued Gingerbread Tree Cookies used to decorate the one-storey Gingerbread House.  This is certainly a colourful season with every reason to smile!

Our new Executive Chef Vincent Aw will share the joy of Christmas with his new creations of Manuka Honey Glazed Ham with Oriental Pineapple Chutney, roasted to perfect succulence with sweet and savoury flavours; and Frosty Mango Log Cakeinspired by the hotel’s all-time favourite mango cake.

Festive Feast at Orchard Café (Lobby Level)

 Ring in the festivity with lavish buffet spread at Orchard Café, featuring a smorgasbord of festive favourites as well as Asian and Western specialties. At the heart of the menu are luscious festive roasts including the Slow Roast Beef Striploin with Mustard and Herbs and Roasted Lamb Leg with Capsicum and Onion Ragout, alongside other favourites such as Grilled Sea Bass with Baby Asparagus, Vine Tomato Relish, Christmas Pizzas and Seafood on Ice. Not to be missed is this year’s new highlight – the Gammon Ham Bone In with Beetroot and Muscovado Sugar.

Dessert lovers will be charmed by a variety of decadent sweets, from Crunchy Hazelnut Chocolate Yule Log and Jivara Chocolate and Earl Grey Tea Cake to Dresden Stollen and Traditional English Fruit Cake.


Orchard Café offers Festive Buffet Lunches, High Tea and Dinners from 7 to 23 December and 26 to 30 December 2015. Festive Buffet Lunch starts daily from 12.00pm – 2.30pm at $52 per adult, $26 per child. Festive Buffet Dinner is served from 6.00pm – 10.00pm on Sundays to Thursdays at $72 per adult, $36 per child, Fridays and Saturdays at $78 per adult, $39 per child. Festive Buffet High Tea is served from 3.00pm – 5.00pm on Saturdays and Sundays at $38 per adult, $19 per child.

Orchard Café’s Christmas Eve buffet is served from 12.00pm – 2.30pm at $72 per adult, $36 per child for lunch; and from 6.00pm – 10:00pm at $98 per adult, $49 per child for dinner. On Christmas Day, buffet lunch is served from 12.00pm – 2.30pm at $78 per adult; and buffet dinner from 6.00pm – 10.00pm at $88 per adult and $44 per child.

Exquisite Celebration at Hua Ting (Level 2)

Those who fancy celebrating Christmas with an oriental twist will be delighted to know that Hua Ting serves up 8-course Festive Set Menus specially curated by our award-winning Masterchef Lap Fai. Savour Braised Whole Abalone (6-heads) with Goose Web and Seasonal Greens in Superior Oyster Sauce, Sautéed Fresh Scallop with ‘Long Jing’ Tea and Seasonal Greens, Steamed Live Soon Hock with Minced Garlic in Superior Soy Sauce, Stewed Oxtail in Red Wine Sauce, Baked Pork Rib Marinated with Lemongrass and other exquisite delicacies.

Hua Ting’s 8-course Festive Set Menus are available on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day for lunch from 11.00am – 2.30pm and dinner from 6.30pm – 10.30pm at $888 and $1088 for a minimum of 10 persons.
