Australia’s leading experiential tourism group, Journey Beyond is expanding its portfolio with the acquisition of premium small group tour operator, Outback Spirit.

Outback Spirit will join Horizontal Falls, Eureka Skydeck Melbourne, Eureka 89, Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef, and Darwin Harbour Cruises as Journey Beyond’s most recent acquisitions, providing further diversity to an impressive portfolio that also includes Cruise Whitsundays, Rottnest Express and Australia’s iconic rail journeys; The Ghan, Indian Pacific and Great Southern.

Journey Beyond’s Chief Executive Officer, Chris Tallent, said the acquisition of Outback Spirit meant Journey Beyond now operates in every state and territory.

Effective immediately, this significant acquisition expands the Group’s comprehensive national presence with closely aligned guest experiences at the premium end of the market and a joint vision to bring Australia’s most unique and iconic experiences to life.
