Pacific Eden Arrives for Second Season of Cruises from Adelaide

P&O Cruises’ Pacific Eden has returned to Adelaide today for her encore season of cruises from the city.

The popular cruise ship will be based in South Australia through to early April and will carry close to 9000 guests on six different cruises, including a series of three and four-night short breaks and a six-night cruise to Fremantle.

In addition to her six turnaround calls to Adelaide, the 1500-guest Pacific Eden will also visit Port Lincoln and Kangaroo Island, with her South Australian season expected to generate close to $5 million for the State in guest and crew spending, supplies and port charges.

P&O Cruises President Sture Myrmell said the ship’s return to Adelaide followed a successful first season in 2016.

“We received great support from South Australians during Pacific Eden’s inaugural season, with holidaymakers really enjoying the opportunity to cruise from their doorstep on the latest addition to our fleet,” Mr Myrmell said.

“We’re confident that Pacific Eden’s second season will prove just as popular with local cruisers.”

Pacific Eden is set to return to Adelaide again in February 2018 for a season of five cruises, which will include P&O’s longest roundtrip cruise from the city yet, an eight-night cruise to Tasmania, as well as a variety of themed Sea Breaks.

Fares start from $399* for a three-night cruise departing Adelaide on February 9, 2018.
